WHAT IS COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL  THERAPY?
(CBT)

CBT is an approach of talking therapy that encourages individuals to make active changes. CBT teaches you to manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave.  CBT is not counselling, this model of therapy  provides practical strategies to make changes to current unhelpful behaviours. This approach of therapy is recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for the treatment of anxiety disorders and depression.

FACE TO FACE

This is often the preferred choice for many people, adding change to their routine. Attending in person can also be useful for those who don’t feel comfortable at home.

ONLINE

Using this format allows therapy in the comfort of your home. This is a great option for those who are unable to travel to office locations.

GROUPS

Our group workshops are well received by those attending them. Learning from others and sharing experiences of problems has been said to normalise the problem, helping to not feel alone.

TESTIMONIALS

Man in a loop

"I can say that I am really pleased with this therapy and the therapist was very helpful. The techniques I really enjoyed and they helped me a lot and I learned a lot and I feel like every week I learned something new."

Bryan Anthony

"I am very grateful for the support and thankful that you listened to me. I feel comfortable talking to you"

Sarah Dylan

"At first, I felt it was off filling in the questionnaire because when I talk to my friends some say they sa they sit and talk for about an hour with a therapist about things and I found this method strange to begin with. On reflection, it has been really helpful and the reviewing that happens every week helps me to keep track of my mood and I can see that difference in how my mood has changed. I found it helpful work on especially eliminating the high-risk area. This has helped me realise that I am capable of making change, thanks it has been really helpful."

Sandra Cooper

"Thank you for all your help in my time of need. It really helped."

Julia Giovanni

"Being a doctor and busy with my professional activities, it is least likely to have enough time to go to the different service provider for the same service. Thank you for the amazing support! Highly Recommended!"

Anthony

"I am very grateful for the support and thankful that you listened to me. I feel comfortable talking to you."

Adam Morgan

"I made remarkable progress in the issue that I had. My therapist was very thoughtful even when I started to ramble on for a while. I appreciated the time and effort, the resources given to me and all the help and guidance offered in my sessions. A very positive reflection on the organisation. Thank you."
